Getting through High School can be a bit of a struggle. It’s almost impossible to maintain a good GPA and still have a social life (notice I said ‘almost’) Yes, there is a way you can stay organized, maintain your GPA, have a cool life, and even boost your grades. How? Technology, that’s how. Don’t believe us? Well, here is a list of the seven apps we know will make your life a hundred times easier.
Available on IOS and Android, myHomework is one of our personal favorites. You can check your class schedule, manage your assignments and set reminders. Isn’t that awesome! This app will help you remember all of your assignments. (What a way to spice up your grade book, right? There’s no way you can forget your Homework now 😉
2- Flashcards+ by Chegg (IOS only)
Ever had a test coming up, but went out with your friends the day before, and convinced yourself you’d study when you’re back home, but end up failing because you never had enough time to study? Well, what if I tell you that there is a way to do both? Because with Flashcards+, you can have your study notes on your phone at all times, that way, you can memorize your notes frequently and throughout the day no matter where you are. (Yep, you never have to stay up past midnight to study again, so no more excuses!)
3- Khan Academy
I can’t stress how much this app helped me through my SATs. You are a click away from infinite videos and practice questions that will undoubtedly sharpen your skills as you go. Oh, and did I mention that you can practice even when you’re offline? Yup, no need to waste all that internet data.
Writing a long essay and want to make sure you’re citing everything with the right format? EasyBib will guide you through that process. Just search the name of the book you’re citing and voila, you just got to reference your source in a second.
5- Sleep Cycle
Waking up early for school may or may not be the worst part of the day. With Sleep Cycle, the app tracks your sleep patterns and wakes you up when the sun comes out (technology ya’ll).
Learning a second language in school is difficult (and not fun at all). If you download duolingo you can not only practice the language and expand your vocabulary, but you can also do it in a fun way as you play the game! It shows you your progress, and focuses on your weaknesses and strengths, and definitely helps you better your language speaking skills.
