NIS is always raising the bar for its faculty by providing opportunities to gain knowledge of new methodologies and techniques. On September 28 and 29, NIS opened its doors to a group of educators from Vejen Gymnasium in Denmark for a two-day seminar.
The seminar was held at the Sherouk campus on September 28 and at the First Settlement campus on September 29. The educators introduced their educational system and the techniques used within their classrooms.
The aim of the seminar was to introduce new cooperative learning (CL) methodologies to the NIS team and allow for the exchange of educational thoughts among colleagues.
Vejen Gymnasium‘s representatives gave presentations, videos and conducted activities with the NIS staff; the attendees interacted with each other through new CL methods which included educational games and activities.
