Everyone needs inspiration. It helps them discover new possibilities and get through the tough times. We all find inspiration in different places and people. Who’s your Muse?
Mariam Tarek – 11D
“My source of inspiration is my mother. In my opinion, she leads a very successful life and she knows what she is doing; I want to be like her because persistence is a great source of inspiration. Everyone would assume that their mother is the best but the thing is, my mother always had that dream of becoming a movie director. When she used to be a teaching assistant she worked extremely hard, she resiliently overcame all the difficulties, and she succeeded. I wish I had just a fourth of her determination.”
Ms. Sherine Fahmy – Physics Teacher
“I am inspired by prophet Mohammed, PBUH. I think he sets a great example, not only for me but for all of us [mankind]. I think that he was sent as an inspiration.”
Youssef Mohamed – 8C
“I am generally inspired by movies that convey the theme of hope.”
Jana Hossam – 7B
“My mother’s support is my inspiration. She always inspires me to get out of my comfort zone and try new things that may seem scary at first; she encourages me to discover new aspects of my personality.”
Mohamed Tamer – 4C
“At school, I set myself a goal to ace my exams and that inspires me to work harder.”
Hams Hassan – 10IB
“My inspiration is a person rather than an idea; Alex Morgan inspires me. She is a very skilled soccer player for the American national team. I always look up to her. She is my role model. My dream is that one day, I could be like her. She inspires me in many different ways like the time and effort she exerted to achieve her dream and how she never gave up despite all the hardships she faced throughout her journey. She is a real inspiration.”
Mr. Mohamed El-Khouly – Science Teacher
“Establishing a good relationship with my students inspires and motivates me to improve as a teacher”
