Every year, the NIS-American graduating class travels to Orlando, Florida where they enjoy the company of their classmates and make memories to keep with them as they prepare to embark on the next part of their journey as college freshmen. Many of the seniors will part ways and begin the new stage of their lives in different countries, colleges and cities; this trip was a chance for them to connect one more time.
The class of 2019 traveled from March 13th until the 22nd under the supervision of IB Principal, Ms. Soha Samir, and High School Business teacher, Mr. Karim Wassim. Both Samir and Wassim ensured that the trip went smoothly and that the students had a memorable experience while staying safe.
Over the span of eight days, the NIS seniors shared rooms and roamed the halls of the Rosen Inn International Hotel. Its location was ideal for the plans and exciting excursions the students had arranged.
Although they are about to enter the adult life of responsibility and planning, it was essential to bring out their inner child by going to fun places like Disney Magic Kingdoms, Aquatica (which was dubbed as the favorite destination), Sea World and Universal Studios.
Even though it was was all fun and games, the class of 2019 made sure to reward themselves with some shopping at Florida Mall and The Mall at Millenia. They obviously couldn’t come home with a few gifts for their families and loved ones.
The senior trip is much needed stress reliever that brings them closer than ever, making the approaching graduation date even harder to grasp.
