Hearing about the Egyptian Air Forces is one thing, but living a day among them is a whole different story!
As part of the the school’s Carried Within Me project, designed to educate, motivate, and inspire true patriotism; the NIS-American’s IB students had the chance to live through this adventure. The students had the opportunity to see the men and women of the Air Force behind the scenes. Why? Because Patriotism is one of primary pillars of NIS.
During their visit to the base, the students visited the newly developed Aviation Museum. It displayed an array of airplanes models that were used throughout Egypt’s history. They saw and learned about air crafts such as the Tiger Moth and F-16.
The adventure didn’t end there, to give the students a full experience they suited up in the air force’s overalls and sat in the pilot’s seat. According to eleventh grader Adham Allam, “it was a different experience, we got the chance to see a different side of the Egyptian Air Force.”
